Channel Normalization on Jalan Petojo Sabangan XI Completed

The water channel normalization located at Jalan Petojo Sabangan XI, RT 12/04, Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta, finally completed. It was started at the end of April 2024.

Hopefully, it can minimize flooding

Gambir Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, M Imawan said the normalization was conducted to minimize flooding due to overflowing water in the channel.

"The condition of some channels in residential areas has been covered. Therefore, the staff has re-formed the routes," he expressed.

Channel on Jalan Angin Sejuk II Being Normalized

His party also installed U-Ditch concrete measuring 40x60 centimeters along with a cover plate 35 meters long, as well as five control tank points measuring 60x60 centimeters.

"This work involves 11 personnel every day. We'll finish it today," he explained.

The work received appreciation from one of the residents from RW 04 Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Adi (33). He hoped, his residential area could be free of flooding after it was done.

"Hopefully, it can minimize flooding," he hoped.
